An old statement of Arjun Rampal has resurfaced on social media, which has left netizens shocked and disappointed. Recently, a Reddit user shared a screengrab of Rampal\u2019s 2012 interview in which he had talked about getting intimate with Kareena Kapoor<\/a> for Madhur Bhandarkar\u2019s movie, Heroine.<\/p>\n

In the interview with Hindustan Times, Rampal had said, \u201cI enjoyed getting cosy with Bebo. I\u2019m still cherishing shooting those love-making moments with her.”<\/p>\n

Arjun Rampal\u2019s Old Statement Shocks Netizens<\/h4>\n

Reacting to Arjun Rampal\u2019s old statement, the Reddit user wrote, \u201cThis is so weird and unprofessional”. Soon after, several others also reacted to it and expressed disappointment. \u201cDidn\u2019t know that people were this comfortable objectifying back then,” one of the netizens wrote. \u201cI think back then this was a promotional tactic to get people to come watch the movie \u2013 saying there is skin show,” added another. A third user called Arjun Rampal \u201ccheap”.<\/p>\n

Released in 2012, Heroine stars Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Randeep Hooda, Mugdha Godse and Divya Dutta among others in key roles. The film revolves around Mahi, an actress, who starts losing projects when her married boyfriend refuses to commit. This impacts her deeply. She slips into depression, which ultimately leads to her downfall.<\/p>\n

When Kareena Kapoor Opened Up About Avoiding Sex Scenes<\/h4>\n

While Kareena has been a part of the showbiz world for 25 years, she has also largely avoided intimate scenes on-screen. Earlier this year, in an interview with actor and activist Gillian Anderson for The Dirty Magazine, the actress revealed that this has been a conscious choice throughout her journey in Bollywood.<\/p>\n
