Android 16 update this month gets multiple security issues fixed<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n

Google has rolled out the new Android 16 update for Pixel devices with the latest August 2025 security patch among other fixes. The new version is part of the stable release that came out in June and now the company is offering security fixes for some major issues. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Pixel 6 series and higher models are getting this Android 16 update over-the-air and the issues highlighted by Google range from high to critical which is never ideal and will surely have people worried about the urgency to install the new update on their Pixel phones. <\/span><\/p>\n

Google says there are three issues that have been fixed which means this is an important update.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Pixel Users Get Major Update: What It Brings<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The new update is available if you use a Pixel 6 or higher model. Google has discovered six issues in total, three of them were fixed with the August patch dated 01-08-2025 and the other three with the 05-08-2025 version. In addition to these security fixes, Google has also resolved the problems faced by Pixel users with different features on their devices.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
