Major airlines such as IndiGo, Etihad Airways, Air India, and Emirates have released advisories giving refunds, free rescheduling, and flexible rebooking for impacted travellers.<\/p>\n
\nThe largest Indian\u00a0airline,\u00a0IndiGo, has prolonged the suspension of a few international flights that fly over the impacted airspace and offered complete flexibility and waiver benefits for passengers going to and from the Middle East<\/a>, The Economic Times reported. Without naming specific routes, the airline stated that the waiver also extends to some other affected overseas sectors.<\/p>\n \u201cIf your booking is impacted, you will receive timely notifications on your registered contact details, and our teams will connect with you directly to provide assistance and guide you through the available options,\u201d the IndiGo travel advisory reads.<\/p>\n The airline claimed to have \u201cmeticulously evaluated the evolving regional trends and their potential impact on flight operations\u201d before adopting what it called the \u2018most responsible\u2019 course of action in the interest of safety.<\/p>\n The temporary suspension of some international aircraft passing through portions of West Asian airspace<\/a> has been extended as part of IndiGo\u2019s ongoing precautionary strategy. Their travel advisory on X read, \u201cDue to the temporary closure of UAE airspace amid the present scenario, all SpiceJet flights operating between India and the UAE have been cancelled till 01 March 2026.\u201d<\/p>\n The airline recommended travellers to check the status of their flight before heading to the airport.
