Apple will be adding new shades to its iPhone 18 Pro lineup and after seeing the iPhone 17 Pros in orange, it might be time for the flagships to go deep red. No, that\u2019s not any sign of trouble for the company but the rumoured colour variant that Apple could announce with the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max in September this year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

These new colours are clearly working for the brand, and the demand for the iPhone 17 Pro in orange is a clear testament to the company\u2019s pull among buyers. In fact, people in many regions will be happy to pay over the selling price just to get their hands on the new variant in the first few batches.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Deep Red Is The New Orange, Apple?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The report from Bloomberg<\/em> suggests the new Red shade is being tested for the iPhone 18 Pro models, and it could be the headlining variant for the brand this year. It also mentions the success of the Cosmic Orange shade has got Apple thinking about newer options but the chances of red and orange lining up alongside are very low, since both of them fit in the same colour spectrum, the report adds.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to earlier details, the new iPhone 18 lineup (mostly the Pro) will look a lot like the iPhone 17 Pro models, with its rectangular camera module but most likely in different colours.<\/span><\/p>\n

So, it is possible that when you face the iPhone 17 Pro next to the 18 Pro version when it launches, you might find both to be identical in their design and even finishing. Except if you hold the new model in a different colour way.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The iPhone 18 Pro leaked video from tipster Jon Prosser has shown the lack of a wide notch for the Dynamic Island, instead it features a punch-hole cut out. This has been mentioned in earlier rumours and Apple seems to be moving the Face ID sensor under the display, which is a big feat for the company.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Apple will have a tough time keeping the iPhone 18 Pro series prices within the same range, but it might offset that by increasing the launch price outside of the US region. <\/span><\/p>\n
