Samsung has introduced its new F-series budget phone in the Indian market this week called the Galaxy F70e. The new model is using a MediaTek Dimensity chipset and comes with the One UI 8 version based on Android as well as a dual rear camera system. It also features a high refresh rate display, and you have a large capacity battery available under the hood.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Samsung Galaxy F70e price in India starts at Rs 12,999 for the base 4GB + 128GB variant, going up to Rs 14,999 if you want the higher 6GB + 128GB model. Samsung will start selling the phone from February 17 in the country.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Samsung is bringing the new budget phone with Android 16-based One UI 8 version and also promising 6 OS upgrades and 6 years of security updates for the device. It features a 6.7-inch display but with an LCD panel that offers 120Hz refresh rate and basic leave of peak brightness. That\u2019s not all, Samsung persists with the waterdrop style notch in 2026 for its new budget device. <\/span><\/p>\n

The phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage with an expandable slot to increase the space further.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The back of the phone gets a textured panel to give it a premium and comfortable design that comes with an 8.2mm thickness and weight of 199 grams for a device packing a 6,000mAh battery. For imaging, the phone gets a dual rear camera system with a 50MP main sensor along with a 2MP depth sensor. You also have an 8MP basic selfie shooter on the front that sits within the notch. <\/span> \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Samsung is clearly focused on keeping all its phones (including the budget segment) up-to-date for many years, and we hope the hardware can handle the slog for these many years. Google has taken a different approach towards software updates for millions of devices, which means many Android users are susceptible to malware attacks, as cited by the company in a new report. <\/span><\/p>\n
