From saying India wanted an \u201cOperation Tandoor” to comments like \u201cTrump ko chup karao nahin toh McDonald\u2019s ko bhagao” and \u201cOp Sindoor was tamasha for media” \u2013 many opposition MPs seemed to have mishandled the discussion around \u2018Operation Sindoor\u2019 in the Lok Sabha on Monday.<\/span><\/p>\n

Congress MP Deepender Hooda said India should \u201cshut the mouth of Donald Trump” or \u201cshut down McDonald\u2019s in India” \u2013 a comment that made even his colleague Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, seated behind him, break out in laughter. Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, meanwhile, simply smiled wondering at the connection between the US President and the food giant. Hooda then went on to say the US did not have to ride on both horses.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Samajwadi Party\u2019s lead speaker, Ramashankar Rajbhar, said the country was so angry after the Pahalgam terror attack that people wanted \u201cOperation Tandoor” rather than \u2018Operation Sindoor\u2019. No one could really understand what he meant.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rajbhar was the third speaker in the Lok Sabha after Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Congress deputy leader in the House, Gaurav Gogoi.<\/span><\/p>\n

The word was later expunged from Lok Sabha records. <\/span>The daughter of former home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde, she questioned what had been achieved through the operation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And let\u2019s not forget Trinamool Congress MP Kalyan Banerjee \u2013 the unofficial king of controversy in Parliament (cue Jagdeep Dhankhar). He stirred yet another row by referring to Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (POK) as \u201cPakistan-Governed Azad Kashmir” while making his speech. The BJP has objected to this.<\/span><\/p>\n
