The latest Instagram down incident has been confirmed by multiple users, who have reported on outage tracker platform Downdetector, while similar incidents have been scarce in regions like India, which suggests the problem was isolated and not widespread across the globe.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"1\" class=\"story_para_1\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\">Most of the complaints on Instagram outage have circled around their inability to access the website, while a small percentage of the mass reports faced issues with the app and login process on the platform.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"2\" class=\"story_para_2\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\"><strong>Instagram Outage Affects Thousands<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"3\" class=\"story_para_3\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\">The latest Instagram outage has primarily affected people in the US who reported issues using the platform around 6:28 PM ET (6:39 AM IST) and lasted for around an hour after which the Instagram outage complaints had eased up.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"4\" class=\"story_para_4\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\">As mentioned by Reuters, the issue has been fixed after the brief down time faced by users in the country. Meta is yet to acknowledge the issue with Instagram and what caused a major outage for thousands of its users in the home market this week.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"5\" class=\"story_para_5\">The new outage report comes at a time when Meta is reportedly testing premium versions of both WhatsApp and Instagram with a select group of users.
