Just like Microsoft Edge, another Chromium engine version, Google Chrome has faced similar security issues for which the Indian government has raised an alert. <\/span><\/p>\n

The latest Chrome security warning dated January 22, 2026 has been posted by the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) with a high severity ranking, which should not be taken lightly as it can severely impact millions of Chrome users in the country who will be extremely concerned by the details on offer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The CERT-In bulletin this week clearly highlights the issue in the Chrome browser and how it might affect the users. \u201cA vulnerability exists in Google Chrome due to race condition error in V8. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by persuading a victim to visit a specially crafted web page.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
