Samsung Galaxy S26 series launch is expected next month and the leaks are getting more in-depth, giving people a better idea about what the new flagship lineup will offer. Earlier it was reported that Samsung could rejig the series with a new Pro and Edge model finding space instead of the regular and Plus version. But those plans seemed to have been canned and the regular setup is going to be announced this year as well. <\/span><\/p>\n

Now, talking about the main aspects of the Galaxy S26 series, the company is unlikely to enter the big battery battle (yet) but it sure could make some changes on the charging front. This has been mentioned in the case of the Galaxy S26 Ultra model and now a leak suggests the regular S26 models will also be getting a boost.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Charging Boost?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A new leak claims the Galaxy S26 model is going to be offered with 45W wired fast charging support this year. This will ensure that all the S26 series devices have a significant charging boost compared to the predecessors. The S25+ already had the speed available along with the S25 Ultra model, but this year Samsung could up the charging ante further and give 60W speed for its most premium model. <\/span><\/p>\n

This means both the S26 and the S26+ devices, with their bumped up battery units will charge in less time than before. Similarly, the rumoured 26 Ultra upgrade to 60W speed should also help in that regard.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 series as well as the Galaxy Z TriFold has shown us that Samsung can innovate if it decides to and we hope the Galaxy S26 lineup gets the same focus.<\/span><\/p>\n

These leaked charging speeds are not exactly fast by the current standards, especially when you have phones available with 120W or 100W charging speeds in the market. But for Samsung this will be a shift in the right direction, and we are hoping the brand can finally deliver on these expectations.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n
