The platform has been pushing Shorts videos on your regular feed across devices, including TVs but this change means you can filter out Shorts videos from your search and stop seeing them if you don\u2019t want to.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The update might not sound like a big deal but it has surely taken YouTube a long time to bring this option, which suggests it is now happy with how much Shorts videos people see.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Shorts Videos Gone, From Your Feed<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

YouTube claims billions watch Shorts videos which tells you how much the short form content works among users. However, some of you might claim these numbers also include the videos that auto-play and end up as a view even though you just scrolled through the feed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

You can make the change from the YouTube settings and filter out Shorts as content and stop seeing them in the search results.
