Niclas Ekerot joins Canada Goose as SVP, Global Stores, effective immediately. Niclas succeeds Dan, assuming global retail leadership. Niclas brings more than 25 years of luxury retail experience, having held senior leadership roles at Bottega Veneta, Michael Kors, Gucci, and most recently Burberry. His deep expertise in global retail operations, brand elevation, and customer experience will be instrumental as Canada Goose continues to strengthen and expand its retail presence globally.<\/p>\n
These appointments follow Jonathan Sinclair\u2019s planned succession and decision to step down as President, Asia Pacific, after establishing a strong foundation of operational discipline during his tenure. Jonathan, who previously served as the company\u2019s Chief Financial Officer, will remain engaged with the company as a board member for its regional subsidiaries, ensuring continuity and strategic oversight.<\/p>\n
After more than a decade of leadership and impact at Canada Goose, Ana Mihaljevic, President of North America, has made the decision to leave the company in February to pursue new opportunities. Carrie Baker, President, Brand & Commercial, will oversee the North America market on an interim basis while we conduct a search for Ana\u2019s successor.<\/p>\n
