Google\u2019s Gemini AI could soon be powering humanoid robots that are not just to show in videos but also deliver real-life use cases for the industry. The company has tied up with robotic giants Boston Dynamics to make these robots AI-powered, smart and market-ready. <\/span><\/p>\n

The deal between these tech companies will be looking to deliver the Atlas human robots that can handle the manual labour work that many industries seek and want AI to automate the process and make them faster.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Making Robots AI-Savvy And Smarter<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We\u2019ve mostly seen the humanoids do the heavy lifting in cartoons or movies but Google is now ready to make its Gemini AI model for robots capable enough to make the Atlas and other versions smarter and not get crippled by the first instance of a mishap. Boston Dynamics is going to use Google\u2019s help to make the robots understand what they see and how they respond to commands and instructions given them on the factory floor.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The automotive industry is likely to be the first to adopt the Atlas humanoid robots in the next few years, and Boston Dynamics (BD) is hoping that Google\u2019s extensive AI approach will help them offer a reliable and glitch-free product to the market.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

BD has been showing off its dog-like robot and humanoid robots for a while but it was always felt they need the right software acumen to become smarter and not just a mechanical chunk that can walk or even listen to your commands.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOnce a single Atlas robot learns a new task, that task can immediately be replicated across the entire fleet, the robot can be controlled in three different ways: autonomous mode, teleoperated, or by using a tablet steering interface,” the company highlighted its plans in a release.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

AI models definitely come to their rescue, offering a wider range of features and abilities that many believe could make these humanoids as smart as humans in the long term.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Google is making Gemini work across platforms. Gemini has been the chosen successor to Google Assistant across platforms and the company is looking to add more tools so that people use the AI chatbot more than before on their Google TV powered smart televisions.<\/span><\/p>\n

In total, Google is offering four new features on its TV platform which has replaced Android TV over the last few years. Nano banana has been offered on mobile and desktop for a while and TVs obviously have become the next source for the Gemini AI features to be made available. <\/span><\/p>\n
