Samsung has made foldable displays for its own products but the latest one could be its biggest innovation and Apple could use it for its own iPhone Fold device. Both these companies are rivals with their products but behind the scenes, you have Apple relying on Samsung\u2019s vast supply unit to source its components. <\/span><\/p>\n

Samsung displays are known in the market and its foldable panel previewed at the CES 2026 this week could be part of the iPhone Fold model as well as its own Galaxy Z Fold 8 series.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Foldable screens have tried their best to remove the crease over the last few years but most have only managed to reduce its level. However, Samsung has shown a demo version of its new panel that has no crease whatsoever.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Samsung\u2019s Crease-Free Foldable Screen: Why It Is A Big Deal<\/strong><\/p>\n

iPhone Fold is Apple\u2019s big play this year (among others) and it will be hoping that Samsung can help it deliver a product that merits its premium experience. The details about the new display have been shared by multiple sources who also claim the panel will house an under-display camera that makes the full screen usable without any gaps or creases.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This will be a big deal, not only for Samsung but also Apple managing to launch its first-gen rumoured iPhone Fold with a crease-free display, which none of the other brands could offer with their own early models. <\/span><\/p>\n

Apple will most likely charge a premium for its own foldable and enticing them with advanced features will surely be a big highlight when Tim Cook and Co. take the stage to announce the product later this year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Samsung also benefits from the display tech and we could see it available with the new Galaxy Z Fold 8 model that should be coming before Apple unveils its own Fold in the market.
