Apple has its own special list for older devices that is regularly updated when new devices are launched.<\/h2>\n

Apple is starting the year with few more devices making its way to the vintage list which does sound worrying for many but it is part of the company\u2019s focus to keep its lineup refreshed with modern products. Apple\u2019s vintage is defined as a product which has stopped selling through the company for more than 5 years but less than 7 years. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Apple launched the iPhone 11 Pro with the other models in September, 2019 and now 6 years later we are seeing the model make its way to the vintage list. It fits the criteria to be part of the Apple folklore and gradually we are seeing the 11 series coming to its last leg in the market.<\/p>\n

Along with the iPhone 11 series we got the Watch Series 5 model which is also joining the vintage list with the latest update from Apple. The device will be given new watchOS upgrades for a few more years but Apple is going to limit its part availability.<\/p>\n

The Intel version of MacBook Air is also losing support from the company and Apple is mostly now working around with its M-series models in the market. Intel has powered Macs for years but the vintage list addition heralds another big change for the company<\/p>\n

This is one of the last iPad Air models before the big design overhaul was done by Apple. Launched in 2019 it also completes 6 years in the market and the cellular model is the one that the company has added to the vintage list this month.<\/p>\n

And finally, you have the remaining few iPhone 8 Plus models with the 128GB version dropping into the vintage category which also feels like the end of an era for Apple. This device doesn\u2019t get iOS upgrades anymore but people might keep it just for the novelty value.<\/p>\n
