Poco M8 5G is also launching in India soon and this means the January 2026 lineup is getting another addition for buyers. Poco has been teasing the M8 5G model over the last few weeks and now the company has confirmed the launch date for Poco M8 5G along with many other brands looking to start 2026 with a bang. The M8 5G model will be powered by a Snapdragon chipset and expected to feature a sleek body.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Poco M8 5G India Launch Date And Event Details<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Poco M8 5G is launching in India on January 8, 2026 a few days after we see the Redmi Note 15 and Realme 16 Pro series announced in the country. The Poco M8 5G launch event starts at 12:00 PM IST and you can tune into the livestream via Poco\u2019s YouTube channel.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Poco M8 5G India Launch: Expected Price And Specifications<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Poco M8 5G is confirmed to feature a sleek body with 7.35mm frame and weight of 178 grams. It is getting a 50MP primary sensor paired with some AI features. You have a squircle camera module that houses two more sensors. Some rumours suggest Poco M8 5G could be its rebranded version of the upcoming Redmi Note 15 model. <\/span><\/p>\n

But having a 50MP shooter means this should have some differences from the Xiaomi device. The Poco phone is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Poco should ideally launch it with HyperOS 3 version but going by the segment we expect to see it running the Android 15 version. The battery size will be another big highlight of the phone and we expect the Poco M8 5G to sport an AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and some more features.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Poco M8 5G India launch price could start around Rs 13,000 in 2026 which is higher than what the Poco M7 was available for but on the expected lines with the current trends. <\/span><\/p>\n
