Woven apparel under HS code <span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span><span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span> rose by a similar <span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span>.<span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span> per cent to approximately NZ$<span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span><span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span><span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span>.<span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span> million (~$<span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span><span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span><span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span>.<span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span> million). Compared with the January\u2013October trend, growth moderated slightly, reflecting softer buying in November as retailers balanced summer demand with tighter stock management and ongoing efforts to avoid overstocking.<\/p>\n<p>November <span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span><span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span><span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span><span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span> highlighted this moderation. Monthly imports of HS <span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span><span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span> and <span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span><span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span> combined declined <span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span>.<span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span> per cent YoY to about NZ$<span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span><span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span><span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span>.<span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span> million (~$<span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span><span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span>.<span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span> million). Knitted apparel imports fell more sharply, down <span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span><span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span>.<span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span> per cent to NZ$<span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span><span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span>.<span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span> million, while woven apparel was broadly flat at NZ$<span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span><span class=\"startxt\">*<\/span> million.
