Xiaomi 17 series is getting a new addition and we could see it announced before the end of 2025. Xiaomi 17 Ultra launch is more or less confirmed for this month, and the new flagship model is going to make its debut in China very soon. This will be the fourth and most premium of the 17 series devices for the brand, where it already has the Xiaomi 17, 17 Pro and the 17 Pro Max models. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Ultra grabs a lot of attention for the brand, primarily because of its camera prowess, powered by Leica\u2019s best technology. The 17 Ultra launch teaser suggests we can see the story repeating itself.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Xiaomi 17 Ultra Launch In 2025<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Xiaomi 17 Ultra launch teaser has been shared via Weibo which confirms its unveiling before the year closes out. The company has not given the exact launch date for the premium device but reports suggest we could see that happen between December 22 and 27 in the region. There is big excitement around the product, primarily because of Xiaomi and Leica re-working their partnership and making improved sensors that will be offered with the 17 Ultra model for the first time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The hardware focus of the 17 Ultra is likely to use the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset with 16GB RAM as the highest version. The design of the 17 Ultra hints at a flatter body compared to the 15 Ultra and could feature a rectangular camera layout with four sensors expected to be housed within them. The previous Ultra model had a more curvy finish with a circular system for the cameras.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Xiaomi has ditched the 16 series and gone straight to the Xiaomi 17 lineup, which now even has a 17 Pro Max moniker (surprise). The 17 Ultra is expected to be priced around the same range in China but we expect the global price for the 17 Ultra to be at par with other premium phones that have launched in recent months.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Xiaomi 17 series is confirmed to launch in India, but there is no update on whether the 17 Pro and the 17 Ultra models will also be making its way to the country in 2026. <\/span><\/p>\n
