The actress featured in the film for a dance sequence and impressed everyone with her hot moves. However, do you know that PeeCee<\/a> was not the first choice for the \u2018Ram Chahe Leela\u2019 song from the movie?<\/p>\n

If a report by Bollywood Hungama is to be believed, Aishwarya Rai was finalised by Bhansali for the item song. However, the actress exited at the last moment, following which Priyanka Chopra was approached by the makers. PeeCee agreed to do the item song and the rest is history.<\/p>\n

Priyanka Chopra Opens Up On Being A Part Of Ram Leela<\/h4>\n

Last week, Priyanka took to her Instagram handle and paid a heartfelt tribute to her dance number in Sanjay Leela Bhansali\u2019s Goliyon Ki Raas Leela Ram-Leela. She shared a clip of her \u2018Ram Chahe Leela\u2019 song from the movie and penned down a long note.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen Sanjay Sir came to me with this song, it was a complicated decision, but he, as a filmmaker has always inspired me. His creative mind, his nostalgic stories usually over incredible food, the conversations of art and music to dance.. the beauty of the yesteryears but also what the future holds. And then he played the song.. and I knew I was her. Under Sanjay sir\u2019s guidance, Ravi Varman\u2019s cinematography shone, and Vishnu Devas choreography was magic. Him and I would rehearse during lunch breaks every day to perfect the dance sequences. This brings back such great memories,” wrote Priyanka.<\/p>\n

PeeCee To Reunite With Bhansali Again?<\/h4>\n

A report by Hindustan Times recently claimed that PeeCee is all set to reunite with Bhansali and might feature for a dance number in his upcoming movie, Love And War. The film also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt in the lead.<\/p>\n

However, another well-placed industry source later claimed Priyanka isn\u2019t reuniting with Bhansali and all such rumours are false. \u201cPriyanka Chopra Jonas just happened to post a throwback video of her song Ram Chahe Leela. While Priyanka and Sanjay Leela Bhansali share a great fondness and mutual respect for each other\u2019s work, there is absolutely no truth to the speculation of them collaborating at this point in time,” the source said.<\/p>\n
