The Reels Algorithm option will be available at the top of every Reels which you can open and select the activities and subject that is more suited for your viewing. Here\u2019s how the new option works for users:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"listOncontentArticleUL\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight:400\">Open any Reels video<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Click on the two lines with heart icon in the upper-right corner<\/li>\n<li>Instagram will show you some of the options based on your viewing history in Reels<\/li>\n<li>You can select from a pre-defined box, add more, or even remove some of them<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p id=\"6\" class=\"story_para_6\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\">This is how Instagram details the new option and what it does for the users:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"7\" class=\"story_para_7\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\">See your top interests: View a summary of the topics Instagram thinks you care about most, right at the top.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"8\" class=\"story_para_8\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\">Tune your preferences: Type in the topics you want to see more or less of, and your Reels will reflect your choices.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"9\" class=\"story_para_9\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\">Share your algorithm: If you\u2019d like, you can share your interests to your Story, so friends and followers can see what you\u2019re into.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"10\" class=\"story_para_10\"><span style=\"font-weight:400\">The new Reels Algorithm is coming first to users in the US and its global rollout will happen soon, starting with English and other languages to follow later. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"11\" class=\"story_para_11\">According to a new report by <em>404Media<\/em>, the platform has been indulging in practices that are far away from its mandate. Instagram has been spotted getting its posts ranked on Google Search and most of these users had no idea about this happening.<\/p>\n<p id=\"12\" class=\"story_para_12\">Meta is yet to respond to the concerns which is why it is hard to pinpoint the reason for why this is happening.
