ChatGPT is already an integral part of the Apple ecosystem thanks to their deal in 2024 but soon we could see the AI chatbot interact with your health data on its devices. A new report this week claims the ChatGPT iOS app is likely to get third-party health integration and Apple Health could be one of the services that could interlink with the AI for better assistance.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It is interesting that Apple\u2019s continued struggle with AI is going to allow other players to rope in and bank on its large dataset and health (thanks to Apple Watch users) becomes a goldmine for these companies.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

ChatGPT For Apple Health: How It Might Work<\/strong><\/p>\n

The report from MacRumors<\/em> has shared the details about the possible link up and the feature has been spotted in the ChatGPT iOS app by a tipster. The Apple Health app icon was seen within the app by the source, which hints at a bigger health play for OpenAI and Apple with a future integration.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The report doesn\u2019t say how the Apple Health link might work within ChatGPT but safe to say that people will be eagerly hoping that both companies have the privacy side of health data in place before going official.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Apple has clearly stated that any AI query working through ChatGPT is outside its privacy purview and having health data operating in this ecosystem could raise concerns.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Apple AI has been lagging behind rivals which has promoted the tech giant to work with OpenAI and maybe even Google\u2019s Gemini for their AI prowess. That\u2019s not all, it has been mentioned that Apple\u2019s new AI model could be based on Gemini for which the iPhone maker could be paying billions every year. <\/span><\/p>\n

The same AI model could power the new Siri 2.0 version that many people have been waiting to try out and hopefully 2026 will finally get us closer to the AI assistant. Apple could share more details over the next few months, and probably wait till the WWDC 2026 to really go in-depth with its AI health focus.<\/span><\/p>\n
