The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) poll results came on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n

As the results for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) came out on Wednesday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won seven out of the 12 seats. According to the results announced by the state election commission, three seats were won by AAP, while the Congress and the All India Forward Bloc (AIFB) each secured one seat.<\/p>\n

Of the 12 wards where voting was held on November 30, nine were previously held by the BJP, and the remaining three by AAP.<\/p>\n

Polling was held on 30 November across 580 booths, following 12 vacancies created when 11 councillors were elected to the Delhi Assembly and one to Parliament.<\/p>\n

Municipal Corporation of Delhi Poll Results: Full List Of Bypoll Winners<\/h4>\n

BJP candidates who registered a win are:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Anita Jain won the Shalimar Bagh B ward<\/li>\n
  2. Manisha Devi won Dwarka B<\/li>\n
  3. Sarla Choudhry won Vinod Nagar.<\/li>\n
  4. Veena Asija from Vinod Nagar<\/li>\n
  5. Anjum Mandal from Greater Kailash<\/li>\n
  6. Rekha Rani from Dichaon Kalan<\/li>\n
  7. Suman Kumar Gupta from Chandni Chowk<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    AAP won three seats:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Ram Swaroop Kanojia winning the Dakhshin Puri seat<\/li>\n
    2. Anil triumphing on the Mundka seat<\/li>\n
    3. Rajan Arora winning the Naraina seat<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Congress:<\/strong> Suresh Choudhry has won the Sangam Vihar ward<\/p>\n

      AIFB:<\/strong> Mohd. Imran managed won the Chandani Mahal seat.<\/p>\n

      Nearly 1,800 Delhi Police personnel and 10 companies of paramilitary forces were deployed. Around 700 personnel were deployed for counting, and facilities were provided for the candidates and their authorised counting agents.<\/p>\n

      The vote percentage in the bypolls was recorded as 38.51 per cent as compared to 50.47 per cent in the MCD elections held for 250 wards in 2022.<\/p>\n
