Another day, another ODI, and maybe another Ro-Ko masterclass?<\/p>\n

Well, fans in Raipur will surely be hoping so, as India take on South Africa today with the Men In Blue being forced to bat first.<\/p>\n

They might not have much luck with the toss, as India went on to lose their 20th straight toss in a row.<\/p>\n

For some reference, the probability of losing 20 tosses in a row stands at just 1 in 1,048,576 (0.000095%).<\/p>\n

But, they sure know how to perform regardless, having won 63% of their last 19 matches despite losing the toss.<\/p>\n

Well, when it comes to the team sheet, India opted to remain unchanged; while South Africa witnesses their skipper Temba Bavuma enter the fold yet again, alongside Keshav Maharaj and Lungi Ngidi, in hopes of inspiring change.<\/p>\n

The first ODI in Ranchi turned out to be a high-scoring battle, with India clinching victory by 17 runs. Virat Kohli smashed his 52nd ODI century and anchored India\u2019s total of 349. Rohit Sharma and stand-in skipper KL Rahul added important half-centuries, helping India post a formidable score despite losing their 19th consecutive toss.<\/p>\n

South Africa\u2019s chase got off to a shaky start, with Harshit Rana and Arshdeep Singh picking up early wickets. However, Marco Jansen shifted momentum with a rapid 26-ball fifty, and Corbin Bosch kept the Proteas alive with a spirited knock, but they were eventually bowled out for 332, giving India a hard-fought win.<\/p>\n
