Indian all-rounder Sneh Rana expressed her gratitude to the passionate supporters of the former Women\u2019s Premier League champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru after signing with the Delhi Capitals for the upcoming season. Rana had joined the RCB squad for WPL 2025 as an injury replacement for young Shreyanka Patil. She was acquired by the Capitals for Rs 50 lakh at the WPL 2026 Mega Auction on November 27.<\/p>\n

Patil was ruled out of the league\u2019s third edition earlier this year due to an injury, leading the RCB management to recruit the Gujarat Giants cricketer at her base price of Rs 30 lakh. Rana justified this decision by taking six wickets in five matches during RCB\u2019s campaign. However, the Smriti Mandhana-led side finished fourth and did not advance to the next stage.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the much-anticipated auction, Rana was released and subsequently acquired by the Capitals, who finished as runners-up in WPL 2025. The 31-year-old bid farewell to the RCB setup, leaving a heartfelt note for the franchise\u2019s extensive fanbase.<\/p>\n

\u201cParting ways with the best fan club in the country\u2026 It\u2019s difficult to leave, but you\u2019ll remain close to my heart, RCB. The memories I made shall stay with me for a long time. The title of #comebackqueen originated from here.. Thank you for everything,” Rana wrote in a touching post that resonated with RCB supporters.<\/p>\n

In addition to her crucial wicket-taking abilities, Rana demonstrated her batting prowess in RCB colours by setting a record for most runs in a single over in the league\u2019s history. In a must-win match against UP Warriorz, with 43 needed off 12 balls, Rana hit her India teammate Deepti Sharma for 4, 6, 6, 4, and 6. Although she briefly revived RCB\u2019s hopes, her dismissal in the 20th over sealed their fate, preventing them from reaching the play-offs.<\/p>\n

Rana also contributed seven wickets in six matches and added vital runs lower down the order during India\u2019s successful campaign to win the ICC Women\u2019s World Cup 2025 last month.<\/p>\n
