Vikas Kohli and Bhawna Kohli are showering their famous brother, Virat Kohli, with fulsome praises following India batting superstar\u2019s spectacular performance for India in Ranchi during the team\u2019s 17-run win over South Africa on Sunday evening. While lauding the performance, Vikas also took aim at Virat\u2019s critics, warning them there\u2019s more in store with the bat from the former India captain.<\/p>\n

Kohli scored 135 off 120 \u2013 a record-extending 52nd century of his glorious ODI career \u2013 that helped India post a mammoth 349\/8 in 50 overs. During his innings, Kohli entertained the capacity crowd at JSCA International Stadium with 11 fours and seven sixes.<\/p>\n

In a series of posts on Instagram Stories, Vikas celebrated his brother\u2019s century while also \u2018shushing\u2019 critics and promising that his is just the \u201cCalm before the storm”.<\/p>\n

Bhawna also seemed to blast the naysayers with a picture featuring both Kohli and Rohit Sharma \u2013 who scored a fine half-century to continue his fine form. The pair added 136 runs for the second wicket after India suffered an early halt when opener Yashasvi Jaiswal was dismissed in the fourth over.<\/p>\n

Kohli Not Big Believer In \u2018Lot of Preparation\u2019<\/h2>\n

Kohli was chosen player-of-the-match and while speaking during the post-match presentation, he opened up on how he gears up for a match, especially now that he\u2019s playing just one format at the international level.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve never been a big believer of a lot of preparation, if that makes sense,” Kohli said. \u201cAll my cricket has been mental. As long as I feel mentally, I can play the game, I work physically very hard every day of my life. It\u2019s got nothing to do with cricket anymore. It\u2019s the way I live.”<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, as long as my fitness levels are up and my mental enjoyment and sharpness is there, when you can visualise the game and you see yourself running as hard, reacting fast on the ball, then you know it\u2019s fine,” he added.<\/p>\n
