Ahead of the Winter Session of Parliament,\u00a0the\u00a0<\/span>Centre has called for an all-party meeting on November 30. As per the official update, the meeting will be held at 11 am. The government would share the list\u00a0of\u00a0<\/span>bills to be discussed during the parliamentary\u00a0proceedings<\/span>\u00a0with the Leader of Opposition.<\/p>\n

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju will be conducting the meeting. Rijiju had also announced that the winter session of Parliament would take place from December 1 to 19. President Droupadi Murmu has approved the proposal of the government to convene the session on the given dates, he said in a post on social media.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal spoke to ANI about the all-party meeting and said, \u201cWe are going to have a meeting with the Secretaries of various departments. We will conduct a scrutiny of all the pending bills that are supposed to be passed, and then an all-party meeting will be held where we will share the list of bills with the leader of the opposition, and then we will form strategies according to the suggestions by the opposition leaders.”<\/p>\n

Parliament is set to have 15 sittings across 19 days. Private Members\u2019 Bills are set to be taken for consideration on December 5 and 19, and Private Members\u2019 resolutions on December 12.<\/p>\n

INDIA Bloc Floor Leaders To Hold Meeting On Dec 1<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ahead of the winter session, the INDIA bloc floor leaders will also hold a meeting at the office of Rajya Sabha Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge in Parliament. The meeting will be held on December 1.<\/p>\n

Before the session commences, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday demanded a debate in Parliament on air pollution across several cities in the country.<\/p>\n

In an X post, Rahul Gandhi questioned the Centre and alleged \u201cno urgency, plan, or accountability” for the air pollution problem. His post reads, \u201cEvery mother I meet tells me the same thing: her child is growing up breathing toxic air. They are exhausted, scared and angry. Modi ji, India\u2019s children are choking in front of us. How can you stay silent? Why does your government show no urgency, no plan, no accountability?”<\/p>\n
