Making voice mode work on a different screen adds friction so integrating with the main interface allows more people to try out ChatGPT in the voice avatar. More importantly, you get to converse with ChatGPT naturally rather than switching between different screens to make the best of the feature.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Voice Mode Moves Forward: But Why?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Making this change not only brings easy access to voice mode but also allows OpenAI to bring new features to the AI chatbot. The company has managed to make images and maps work within the voice responses over the main interface. Having said that, OpenAI is leaving the choice open to the users, and in case they liked it the older way, they can revert back to having the voice mode work in a different interface. You can do this by going to settings, click on Voice mode, and enable the Separate Mode option to separate your text and voice conversations with ChatGPT.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The company has also introduced a special tool right in time for the holiday shopping season. The new tool for shopping will obviously have the visual traits so that you can see, select and decide on your buying options.<\/span><\/p>\n
