Gmail is popular among billions who use the platform to send\/receive mails and handle other third-party account sign ups. The company is going deep with its AI integration and that seems to have started a serious discussion about the prospect of your data being used to train its AI systems without taking your consent.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But Gmail has denied all these charges and assured users it does not use your Gmail data to train the Gemini AI model. Gmail has been forced to issue this statement after a report by Malwarebytes<\/em> claimed that some of the new AI tools in the platform are being used to train Gemini AI. However, Google has refuted those concerns by saying these tools are part of the smart feature package which is different from training the AI. The company says the AI smart features scan your emails to suggest changes or help you with quick replies. <\/span><\/p>\n

If you are still not sure about its use, Google lets you disable them from settings and use Gmail in its original avatar sans the smartness.
