India\u2019s white-ball cricketer Sanju Samson will captain the Kerala senior men\u2019s team in the BCCI Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025\/26 (Elite Group-A, League Stage) tournament, scheduled to take place in Lucknow from November 26 to December 8, 2025.<\/p>\n

The Kerala Cricket Association announced that the team, led by Samson, will depart for Lucknow on November 22, 2025, from Indore.<\/p>\n

Samson, who recently transferred to the five-time IPL champions Chennai Super Kings from Rajasthan Royals in a trade involving Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran, was part of the Indian squad that won the Asia Cup T20 in the UAE a few months ago. He aims to continue his recent form ahead of the ICC Men\u2019s T20 World Cup 2026, co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n

The squad, coached by former India batter Amay Khurasiya, also includes Vignesh Puthur, recently released by the Mumbai Indians. Other notable players are Mohammed Azharuddeen M and Rohan S Kunnummal.<\/p>\n
