Xiaomi once again confirms that HyperOS 3 version will be coming to users in India. We have been seeing these teasers for a while and it seems the company is finally ready with the full release for its Android 16 version. Xiaomi\u2019s software update history is not the best in the market, and definitely not matching the premium brands like Samsung and Google with the upgrade cycle either.<\/span><\/p>\n

So when the HyperOS 3 version was launched we were eager to see which of the Xiaomi, Redmi Note and Poco phones will be upgraded to the latest version.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Xiaomi HyperOS 3 Update In India: What To Expect<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Xiaomi has not shared any timeline for the HyperOS 3 update in India but it can\u2019t be that far off now. The new HyperOS 3 has gone through its beta phase which hints at the official release for the Android 16 version in the country.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

All the Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco phones will get the HyperOS 3 version via an over-the-air (OTA) update. And the company has more devices lined up for the Android 16 update before the end of 2025 and until March 2026. We are hoping that its devices in India get the updates quickly, which is already lagging behind brands like OnePlus, Oppo and Nothing among others expected in the next few weeks.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

HyperOS 3 Update: What It Brings<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Xiaomi\u2019s new HyperOS 3 version is trying its best to bring Apple-like features to the Android devices. One of them is called HyperIsland which seems inspired by the Dynamic Island notch we get on the iPhones these days. You will get live activities on the notched layer, along with details about the charging speed of your phone.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The other big change or addition will be AI-centric tools with Hyper AI. You get AI writing tools to help you change the writing style or even tones. It also will have AI-based speech recognition that will record, transcribe in real-time and give summaries as well. <\/span><\/p>\n
