One was a Turkish Airline flight from Istanbul with 258 passengers and 10 crew, while the other was a SriLankan Airlines flight from Dammam in Saudi Arabia with 188 people, including 8 crew members, onboard, the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport Ltd (TIAL) said in a release.<\/p>\n<p>Both flights landed safely at the Thiruvananthapuram airport around 7 am and departed for Colombo at 8.38 am and 8.48 am, respectively, after the weather cleared there, TIAL said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile,\u00a0the Delhi High Court on Tuesday asked the Federation of Indian Pilots (FIP) to show willful disobedience and non-compliance of judicial order by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation for not fully implementing the new flight duty time limitation norms approved by the court earlier this year.<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>Also read |<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbctv18.com\/travel\/mumbai-airport-to-shut-runways-from-11-am-to-5-pm-on-november-20-find-out-why-19766119.htm\">Mumbai Airport to shut runways from 11 am to 5 pm on November 20: Find out why<\/a><br \/>The court&#8217;s query came after the counsel for FIP submitted that although aviation regulator DGCA had undertaken before the high court in April to implement the FDTL norms in a phased manner beginning from July 1 to November 1, it was not permitting several airlines including Air India and SpiceJet to deviate from the norms.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I understand if there is an issue of unreasonableness or discrimination but today you are asking for this court to initiate contempt proceedings. I am again asking, where has there been willful disobedience or non-compliance? There was a direction.
