PM Modi hailed NDA’s record victory in Bihar in his address to BJP workers in Delhi, and said the people had rejected politics of appeasement by the RJD-Congress alliance.<\/h2>\n

Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed the National Democratic Alliance\u2019s (NDA) landslide victory in Bihar and said the Rashtriya Janata Dal\u2019s (RJD) \u2018katta sarkar\u2019 (gun-wielding government) will never return in the state.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the Election, whenever I would speak about Jungle Raj and Katta Sarkar, there was never any opposition from the RJD, but the Congress would be hurt. I can say once again, it (katta sarkar) will never return in Bihar,” he said in his victory speech.<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister\u2019s remarks were met with a deafening applause from party workers after the NDA\u2019s landslide win. \u201cWe in the NDA are servants of the people \u2014 we win hearts through our hard work. We have won the hearts of the people, and that is why Bihar has said once again, \u2018Phir ek baar, NDA sarkar!” he said.<\/p>\n

PM Modi said he had asked the people of Bihar to give the NDA a resounding victory, and they gave the alliance the biggest margin of victory since 2010. \u201cOn behalf of the entire NDA family, I thamk all the people of Bihar and accept this victory in all humility.”<\/p>\n

He also thanked Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Chirag Paswan for the victory. He also highlighted that earlier elections in Bihar were marred by booth capturing and poll violence, but this year\u2019s election was largely peaceful despite a record turnout.<\/p>\n

Taught \u2018Anti-India Forces\u2019 A Lesson<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Attacking the opposition, PM Modi said, \u201cSome parties in Bihar had created a politics of appeasement with their \u2018MY\u2019 formula. But today\u2019s victory has given a new and positive \u2018MY\u2019 formula \u2013 Mahila and Yuva.”<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister asserted that Bihar has shown that India is the mother of democracy, and the people taught \u201canti-India forces” a lesson. He said the RJD-Congress had created a negative image of Bihar, failed to respect the culture of the state, and disrespected the biggest festival of Chhath ahead of the elections. \u201cPeople of Bihar will never forget how their pride and dignity had been disrespected,” he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe revision of voter rolls was taken very seriously by the youth of Bihar, and they supported it \u2013 it is the responsibility of all political parties to ensure free and fair voting and to make sure that rightful voters get the opportunity to cast their vote,” he said on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.<\/p>\n
