iPhone 18 Pro is promising a host of upgrades next year from Apple, most notably the new camera system on board. But a new leak suggests the premium 18 Pro series could go for a serious design overhaul as well.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Nothing is the brand credited with trying new things with design for phones and it seems Apple might have been inspired by the brand to try out its own transparent design versions for the upcoming iPhone models.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

iPhone 18 Pro Design Upgrade<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The new details from tipster Digital Chat Station<\/em> suggests the iPhone 18 Pro series could get a transparent back panel. This also means you might be able to see the module and components housed inside the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max model, where the latter is expected to pack a steel-cased battery for the first time. <\/span><\/p>\n

We are eager to see Apple\u2019s version of a transparent panel, and how it manages to keep the device aesthetics in place without trying to be too adventurous.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The camera island on the 18 Pro is unlikely to change and the brand might keep it that way till the 20 year anniversary model that comes 2027.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The other big change could be on the front, with the selfie camera and Face ID tipped to feature under the screen with the help of HIAA technology. Does this mean the wide notch will be going away for good, we sure hope that Apple is able to make this change. And the company could act as a catalyst for other brands to adopt the screen tech for their cameras.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The display size for the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max should also be the same and you can expect the 18 series Pro models to be using the A20 chipset built on TSMC 2nm process. We\u2019ve also heard rumours about the iPhone 18 Pro series coming in new shades like coffee and burgundy, moving beyond the blues and orange that got the 17 Pro a lot of headlines this year. <\/span><\/p>\n
