For the first ten months this year, the IIP is estimated to have grown by 9.2 per cent YoY; it increased by 8.3 per cent YoY during the corresponding period last year.<\/p>\n
The manufacturing and processing sector\u2014the primary growth driver\u2014expanded by 10.5 per cent YoY\u2014up from 9.5 per cent YoY in the same ten months last year.<\/p>\n
Vietnam’s industrial production index (IIP) in October rose by an estimated 2.4 per cent month on month and 10.8 per cent YoY.
\nFor the first ten months this year, it is estimated to have grown by 9.2 per cent YoY.
\nThe manufacturing and processing sector grew by 10.5 per cent YoY in the period.
\nApparel production grew by 13.3 per cent YoY, while that of casual wear rose by 14.3 per cent YoY in the period.<\/p>\n

The IIP rose in all 34 provinces and cities during the period.<\/p>\n
In Ho Chi Minh City alone, the October IIP was estimated to rise by 1.5 per cent MoM and 17.5 per cent YoY. Cumulatively, the city\u2019s industrial production index grew by an estimated 7.5 per cent during the period, an NSO release said.<\/p>\n
