Bihar Assembly Elections 2025: Voting for the first phase of the 2025 Assembly elections in Bihar is underway across 121 constituencies in 18 districts of the state’s 243 seats.<\/h2>\n

Bihar Assembly Elections 2025:<\/strong> As the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections commenced on Thursday, the Yadav family cast their vote and urged the youth to come out and vote in huge numbers. Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and Mahagathbandhan\u2019s chief ministerial face Tejashwi Yadav, RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, Misa Bharti and Rabri Devi cast their vote and appealed to bring change in Bihar.<\/p>\n

\u201cBadlaav kijiye, naya Bihar banaiye, nayi sarkaar banaiye. 14 November ko nayi sarkaar banne wali hai,<\/em>” said Tejashwi Yadav, showing his inked finger.<\/p>\n

Voter Turnout: Bihar Assembly Election 2025<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Yadav Family Cast Vote<\/h4>\n

Asserting confidence in the victory of Mahagathbandhan, RJD chief Lalu Yadav after casting his vote for the first phase of Bihar polls<\/a>, asserted \u201cBadlaav hoga<\/em>” (Change will happen).<\/p>\n

\u201cI appeal to women, youth and everyone to come out of their houses and cast their votes. The public will bring about a change,” former Bihar Chief Minister and Tejashwi\u2019s mother Rabri Devi said.<\/p>\n

She further extended best wishes to both her sons \u2014 Tejashwi and Tej Pratap. Notably, Tej Pratap is contesting on his own. \u201cI am their mother. Good luck to both of them,” she said, adding, \u201cI request to the people of Bihar to step out and vote and don\u2019t forget your right to vote\u2026”<\/p>\n

Urging people to participate in the process of democracy, RJD leader Misa Bharti says, \u201cI just want to say that everyone should cast their votes keeping the future of their children in mind.”<\/p>\n

PM Modi Urges People To Vote<\/h4>\n

As Bihar votes for the first phase of Assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also urged the people of Bihar to participate in the festival of democracy with full enthusiasm to exercise their voting rights.<\/p>\n

In a post on X, Prime Minister Modi also extended congratulations to the young voters who are going to cast their vote for the first time, urging them to prioritise voting before all chores, saying, \u201cPehle matdaan, fir jalpaan.”<\/p>\n

Bihar Votes Today<\/h4>\n

Voting for the first phase of the 2025 Assembly elections in Bihar began today at 7.00 am across 121 constituencies in 18 districts of the state\u2019s 243 seats, with approximately 3.75 crore electors casting their ballot.<\/p>\n

The first phase will decide the fate of several senior leaders, including RJD\u2019s Tejashwi Yadav, BJP leaders Samrat Choudhary and Mangal Pandey and JD(U)\u2019s Shravan Kumar and Vijay Kumar Choudhary.<\/p>\n
