Uttar Pradesh chief minister and prominent BJP star campaigner, Yogi Adityanath, launched a scathing attack on the opposition in Bihar with assembly elections<\/a> underway on Thursday, urging the electorate to remain united against the \u201cJungle Raj” and \u201cMafia Raj” allegedly propagated by the Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD).<\/p>\n

Addressing rallies in the Bagaha and Ramnagar assembly constituencies ahead of the second phase of the elections on November 11, Adityanath emphasised that caste divisions only invite exploitation and instability.<\/p>\n

Adityanath\u2019s speeches centred on a hard-hitting, historically loaded phrase that linked division with defeat and suffering: \u201cJab bhi bante the, toh kate the (Whenever we were divided, we were cut)!”<\/p>\n

He passionately appealed to the voters to reject divisive politics, stating, \u201cBatna nahin hai, ekjut hokar Congress aur RJD ke \u2018Jungle Raj\u2019 aur \u2018Mafia Raj\u2019 ka munhtod jawab dena hai (We must not be divided; we must unite and deliver a crushing reply to the Congress and RJD\u2019s \u2018Jungle Raj\u2019 and \u2018Mafia Raj\u2019).” He underscored the security benefit of solidarity: \u201cJaati-paanti mein batna nahin hai, ek rahenge toh safe rahenge\u2026 (Don\u2019t divide yourselves based on caste; if you remain one, you will remain safe\u2026).”<\/p>\n

The BJP\u2019s core campaign narrative against the RJD has historically centred on the issue of law and order, using the term \u201cJungle Raj” to reference the perceived collapse of governance during the RJD\u2019s past tenure. Adityanath, known for his firm administrative approach in UP, forcefully argued that a return of the Congress-RJD alliance would mean a regression to an era of instability and criminal dominance. He warned that the coalition, including their partners, represents \u201cpeshevar khaandaani mafia (professional hereditary mafias).”<\/p>\n

Adityanath\u2019s confidence in the NDA\u2019s prospects was palpable as he predicted a severe electoral setback for the opposition: \u201cBihar ki janta-janardan ke aashirwad se Congress, RJD aur unke jitne bhi partner aur peshevar khaandaani mafia hain, in sabhi ki zamaanat zapt honi tay hai (With the blessings of the people of Bihar, the security deposits of the Congress, RJD, and all their partners and professional hereditary mafias are certain to be forfeited).”<\/p>\n

His presence in Bagaha and Ramnagar is a strategic deployment by the NDA to consolidate support in these critical seats, utilising the fear of past instability to reinforce the alliance\u2019s image as the sole guarantor of safety and development.<\/p>\n

Adityanath concluded his address by offering his gratitude to the locals: \u201cApaar jan samarthan ke liye Bagaha Vidhan Sabha aur Ramnagar Vidhan Sabha kshetra vaasiyon ka hardik aabhaar (Heartfelt gratitude to the residents of Bagaha Assembly and Ramnagar Assembly constituency for the overwhelming public support).”<\/p>\n
