According to a report in the Times of India on Wednesday (November 5), Harmanpreet will get a wax statue at Jaipur’s historic Nahargarh Fort.

As per the available information, at the Jaipur Wax Museum, located within the Sheesh Mahal of Nahargarh Fort, Harmanpreet’s statue will be unveiled on March 8, 2026.

According to the museum, the installation is intended not only to celebrate India’s World Cup win but also to highlight the achievements of women in sports.

According to museum founder Anup Srivastava, Harmanpreet is a symbol of courage, discipline, and the belief that Indian women can shine on the global stage.

Harman will be the second Indian World Cup-winning captain to have a statue at the Jaipur museum. Before her, MS Dhoni, who led India to the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup in 2011, also had a statue unveiled by the museum.

Harman in Women’s World Cup 2025

Harmanpreet played all nine matches for Team India in the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 and scored 260 runs in eight innings. We wanted to break this barrier. And our next plan is to make this a habit. We were waiting for it, now this moment has come. So many big occasions are coming, and we want to keep improving. This is not the end, just the beginning,” Harmanpreet said after India’s win.

First Published:

November 05, 2025, 16:51 IST

News cricket Harmanpreet Kaur Wax Statue To Be Unveiled At Jaipur’s Nahargarh Fort

Disclaimer: Comments reflect users’ views, not News18’s.
