Bihar Polls 2025:<\/strong> Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday unleashed a no-holds-barred attack on the Lalu Prasad Yadav-led Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), saying that Bihar would see \u201ccreation of three portfolios of murder, kidnapping and extortion” if Tejashwi Yadav is voted to power in the upcoming assembly elections.<\/p>\n

While addressing a poll-bound rally in Bihar\u2019s Muzaffarpur, Shah claimed that, on the other hand, if the NDA retains power, a separate ministry for flood control would be set up to ensure that the state is made flood-free.<\/p>\n

He urged people to vote for the NDA to check the recurrence of jungle raj<\/em> that saw kidnappings, murders, and atrocities during the RJD regime.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf Lalu\u2019s son (Tejashwi) becomes Bihar chief minister, three more new portfolios will be created to oversee kidnapping, extortion and murder\u2026Your votes for the NDA will save Bihar from RJD\u2019s \u2018jungle raj\u2019. Efforts are underway to bring back \u2018jungle raj\u2019 with new faces,” Shah said, as quoted by news agency PTI.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf voted to power, the NDA will make Bihar flood-free. It is our pledge. We will set up a separate ministry to ensure that Bihar is saved from flood fury,” he added.<\/p>\n

He also claimed infighting is underway among \u2018Mahagathbandhan\u2019 constituents in Bihar.<\/p>\n

The Union Minister also accused Lalu Prasad Yadav and Congress leader Sonia Gandhi of \u201ctrying to make their sons the Bihar Chief Minister and the Prime Minister, respectively, and asserted that both posts \u201care not vacant”.<\/p>\n

Shah further highlighted welfare schemes launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that the reduction in GST would help litchi growers in Bihar, and \u201csteps are being taken to set up a mega food park in Muzaffarpur with Rs 20,000 crore investment.<\/p>\n

\u201cPM Modi made India secure, safe, and prosperous and launched various welfare schemes,” Shah said at the Muzaffarpur rally.<\/p>\n

He claimed that Bihar CM Nitish Kumar\u2019s 20-year rule and PM Modi\u2019s 11-year regime at the Centre were fully \u201ctransparent with no corruption charges levelled”.<\/p>\n

He asserted, \u201cLalu (RJD\u2019s regime) gave only Rs 2.80 lakh crore to Bihar in 10 years, whereas Modi allotted Rs 18.15 lakh crore between 2014 to 2025″ for the state\u2019s development.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will set up over 50,000 cottage industries, and will invest Rs one lakh crore in agriculture infrastructure. Can Lalu-Rabri or Sonia do such development works?” he questioned.<\/p>\n

Shah termed the NDA allies \u2013 the BJP, JD(U), Chirag Paswan\u2019s LJP (RV), HAM, Kushwaha\u2019s party as the five \u2018Pandavas\u2019 and said they will \u201censure Bihar\u2019s prosperity”.<\/p>\n

Highlighting the poll promises made in the NDA manifesto, he said one crore Bihar youth will be given private and government jobs, and each district will have a mega skill centre.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlso, the NDA government in Bihar will provide Rs 3,000 to each farmer in addition to Rs 6,000 by the Centre. As many as 44,000 youth benefited from Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojana,” he added.<\/p>\n

Bihar Polls 2025<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The 243-member Bihar assembly will go to polls in two phases on November 6 and November 11, with results set to be announced on November 14.<\/p>\n
