Gaurav Chopra has returned to the small screen with the daily soap Pushpa Impossible. His role of a professor in the show is winning hearts, with fans going gaga and showering love on the actor. Talking about his comeback to television five years after Sarojini, the actor recently sat down for a chat where he shared his excitement to be a part of the show. During the chat, Gaurav reflected on his character in Pushpa Impossible. The actor also revealed that he turned down the offer of a big TV show earlier in the past.<\/p>\n

In a conversation with Zoom\/ Telly Talk, Gaurav Chopra shared, \u201cBefore this, I was in talks for another big TV show. I politely declined the offer. During the past five years, I received many offers from television. I turned them down because I felt I\u2019d already played such characters. I don\u2019t find any problem with this. When you\u2019ve successfully played a character who is loved by audiences, similar roles are thought of for an actor. There\u2019s nothing wrong with it. But it limits you as an actor.”<\/p>\n

Citing similar character as the reason behind his decision to reject the past offer, Gaurav continued, \u201cSo while declining the previous role, I thought it was a bit similar and didn\u2019t wish to play it.”<\/p>\n

Moving ahead in the conversation, Gaurav Chopra also had something to say about his character in Pushpa Impossible. The actor added that his character in the show is different from what he has portrayed on-screen before which is why he signed up for the role.<\/p>\n

Sharing details about his character, Gaurav said that he is a lawyer and professor with a mystery. However, what attracted him was the simplicity in his demeanour. \u201cThis was something different. It was a challenge. I straightaway said yes to it,” the actor mentioned.<\/p>\n

Gaurav Chopra\u2019s role in Pushpa Impossible marks the actor\u2019s comeback to the small screen after a hiatus of 5 years. Before this, he was seen in the TV show Sanjivani as Navratan (NV) Singh. It aired on the Star Plus channel in 2020.<\/p>\n
