Tata Motors Demerger Update <\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n

Tata Motors PV Share:<\/strong> Indian automobile Tata Motors Passenger Vehicle\u2019 shares will remain in focus on Monday, November 03, after delivering a consecutive record-breaking month in terms of passenger vehicle sales following the recent Goods and Services Tax (GST) rate rationalisation and strong festive demand. According to Moneycontrol report, over 74,705 units, including electric vehicles (EVs) were sold by Tata Motors in October, as compared to 66,800 units by Mahindra & Mahindra and 65,045 units by Hyundai.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Maruti Suzuki dominated the space by selling almost 2,38,534 units during the same month.<\/p>\n

Last week, Tata Motors PV shares fell 0.57 per cent to end at Rs 410.10 apiece.<\/p>\n

Tata Motors Demerger<\/h3>\n

In the final leg of the demerger process, where the company is splitting the passenger and commercial vehicles businesses, the automaker has renamed its commercial vehicles arm, TML Commercial Vehicles Ltd, to Tata Motors Ltd. Earlier Tata Motors Ltd was itself renamed as Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd (TMPV) on October 13, 2025.<\/p>\n

For every fully paid Tata Motors share held on the record date, investors got one share of the new commercial vehicle company (TMLCV). This means shareholders will have the same ownership percentage in both listed companies. The 1:1 share ratio was decided when the board first announced the plan. The shares were credited to Demat accounts on October 16 in a 1:1 ratio. However, the shares of TML Commercial Vehicles Limited (TMLCV) are currently frozen in the Demat accounts.<\/p>\n

Listing of the commercial arm of Tata Motors Ltd Passenger Vehicle which is now called TMCV is likely to be concluded in November, according to a report of Live Mint.<\/p>\n
