Munawar Faruqui recently made his OTT debut in Farhan P. Zamma\u2019s First Copy. Set in 1990s Mumbai, the drama series explores the world of film piracy. Munawar Faruqui is seen playing the role of Arif, a young man who becomes the piracy kingpin after capitalising on the demand for pirated movies by selling them on CDs. The series delves into the themes of unchecked ambition, the allure of easy money, and the consequences that come with it. Alongside Munawar Faruqui, the film features Krystle D\u2019Souza, Ashi Singh and Gulshan Grover, among others, in prominent roles.<\/p>\n

Munawar Faruqui Is Hosting The Society<\/strong><\/p>\n

Munawar Faruqui is currently hosting the survival reality show The Society alongside social media influencer Shreya Kalra. The Society brings together 25 contestants to compete in a high-stakes game. Contestants are separated into three distinct social classes, for instance, Royals, Regulars and Rags. As the game progresses, the Royals live in comfort and luxury, while Regulars find themselves caught in the middle with limited resources, and the Rags, on the other hand, must fight their way up the social ladder. The show is streaming on JioHotstar. Besides The Society, Munawar was recently seen hosting an episode of Pati Patni Aur Panga alongside Sonali Bendre.<\/p>\n
