The Maddock Horror Comedy Universe is one of the most important and loved franchises currently, and every report about who has been cast in the upcoming films keeps the audience hooked. Recently, a report claimed that Pratibha Ranta will replace Sharvari in Maha Munjya, but how true are these reports? In an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha,\u00a0Aditya Sarpotdar<\/a>, the director of Munjya and Thamma, rubbished all such reports, saying, \u201cSharvari is an integral part of the Munjya team.”<\/p>\n

While speaking with us, when asked if Pratibha Ranta is on board for any of MHCU\u2019s films, Aditya shared, \u201cYaar, I don\u2019t know where this Pratibha story came from. I\u2019m sure it\u2019s just another rumour because vo definitely nahi hai, that\u2019s not how it is.”<\/p>\n

\u201cWe know that the core team of Munjya, Sharvari and Abhay Verma are already in the next film. I read an article saying Pratibha has replaced Sharvari in Munjya 2, but that\u2019s just not possible because Sharvari is an integral part of the Munjya family. Now, as for which new actors join in later, that announcement will happen at the right time,” the director added.<\/p>\n

About MHCU\u2019s Munjya<\/strong><\/p>\n

The fourth film of the Maddock Supernatural Universe, Munjya, created havoc at the box office. The film is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and stars Abhay Verma, Mona Singh, Sharvari, and S. Sathyaraj in the lead roles. The film centres on the legend of Munjya, which is inspired by Indian folklore and mythology.<\/p>\n

According to Niren Bhatt, the screenwriter of the film, Munjya is perceived as a creature that is both monstrous and childlike due to dying at a young age. Munjya tends to trouble people to fulfil its desires, often fixating on marriage. Munjyas have a peculiar fondness for throwing stones at individuals standing beneath trees. They are mischievous and harmless when compared with other spirits in the world.<\/p>\n

While the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe\u2019s recent release Thamma, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, is creating wonders at the box office<\/a>, the next one in the franchise will be Shakti Shalini, headlined by Saiyaara fame Aneet Padda.<\/p>\n
