Babar Azam overtook Rohit Sharma to become the highest run-getter in the shortest format of the game durg Pakistan\u2019s nine-wicket win over South Africa in their second T20I at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Friday.<\/p>\n

Before the match, Babar needed just nine runs and scored an unbeaten 11 to surpass Rohit Sharma\u2019s record of 4,231 runs in men\u2019s T20 internationals, after falling for a duck in the first T20 against the Proteas.<\/p>\n
