And it is all because of one legendary man. Yes, we\u2019re talking about the filmmaker Yash Chopra<\/a>, who turned this Alpine paradise into an ultimate dream spot for many Indians.<\/p>\n

Recently, actor Anupam Kher found himself reliving that cinematic magic during his vacation in Switzerland. What he discovered at one of the country\u2019s most famous railway stations left him both emotional and nostalgic.<\/p>\n

Anupam Kher\u2019s Special Discovery<\/strong><\/p>\n

While visiting the Jungfrau Railway station, Anupam Kher came across a train named after the legendary filmmaker: the \u201cYash Chopra Train.” Seeing it brought back a flood of memories for him. He shared a video on Instagram where Kher can be seen smiling ear to ear as he says, \u201cWhat an amazing feeling to have Yash ji\u2019s name on this train in Switzerland. Yash ji, tussi great ho yar (you are great). The time that I spent with you is the richest time of my life.”<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cI miss you very much. You are the bestest. What an achievement you have. It is an achievement for all Indian citizens to have a train named after you at the height of this snowy, amazing place. Yash Chopra, the great, Yash Chopra, the greatest.”<\/p>\n

\u201cYASH CHOPRA AND SWITZERLAND: The fact that ONE person\u2019s cinematic vision can change the tourism industry of a country is UNBELIEVABLE! And that is exactly I witnessed in my trip here. Almost every location has a #YashChopra stamp in Switzerland! His portraits, his statue, trains named after him, Bollywood restaurants, signboards in Hindi and thousands of Indian Tourists. I am deeply humbled and proud that I got to spend so much time with him apart from being part of so many #YRF films. Yash ji \u2013 You will always be the GREATEST! Jai Ho!” he wrote in the caption.<\/p>\n

Recognising his unmatched contribution to Swiss tourism, Yash Chopra was awarded the honorary title of \u201cAmbassador of Interlaken.” This rare honour was the local government\u2019s way of acknowledging how his films helped introduce Switzerland to countless Indian travellers.<\/p>\n

If you walk through Interlaken, you will find Bollywood woven into everyday life such as restaurants themed around Indian cinema and signboards written in Hindi.
