Enrique Iglesias made a grand return to India after over a decade. On Wednesday, October 29, the Grammy-winning pop sensation enthralled thousands of fans with a high-energy show at the MMRDA Grounds, Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). Over 25,000 fans gathered to sing along, dance, and celebrate the first concert of the singer\u2019s two-show stop in India as part of his global tour. The night was full of unforgettable moments, but one in particular stood out as the highlight.<\/p>\n

As Enrique performed his chart-topping songs one after another, walking along a ramp on stage to get closer to his fans in the pit, fans threw hats, shirts, and even a phone onto the stage. The 50-year-old singer wasn\u2019t a spoilsport. Juggling his mic, he got hold of the phone and smiled as he recorded a selfie video with the crowd. He even flashed a peace sign before tossing the phone back.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the incident also inspired other fans at the concert to try their luck, hoping to get an exclusive glimpse of the global pop sensation. Unfortunately, none of their phones reached the stage, and later, the singer\u2019s team made sure to return the phones that landed nearby to their owners.<\/p>\n

Enrique Iglesias Returns To India After 13 Years<\/strong><\/p>\n

Enrique Iglesias\u2019 concert last night kicked off with EDM duo Progressive Brothers, followed by a lively performance by Indo-Canadian pop star Jonita Gandhi. The Spanish singer, meanwhile, enthralled the crowd for 90 minutes with his hits like Bailamos, Escape, and Hero. The sold-out show saw several Bollywood celebrities in attendance, including Malaika Arora, Vidya Balan, Rakul Preet Singh, Jackky Bhagnani, Rubina Dilaik, Anu Malik, and Abhinav Shukla. The singer will also be performing in Mumbai on October 30 at the same venue.<\/p>\n

This was the third time Enrique had come to India for a concert. He performed for the first time in the country in 2004, followed by a three-city tour of India in 2012.<\/p>\n
