A shooting incident was reported outside the residence of Punjabi singer Channi Nattan in Canada. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for the attack.<\/p>\n

The gang allegedly stated that the attack was carried out because Nattan had grown close to fellow singer Sardar Khera, which they said triggered the confrontation. Police have launched an investigation into the incident. There were no immediate report of any injuries.<\/p>\n

This marks yet another case of violence targeting Punjabi artists abroad. Earlier, on February 3, shots were fired at the residence of Punjabi singer Prem Dhillon in Canada, for which the Jaipal Bhullar gang took responsibility. A viral post by the gang also mentioned Sidhu Moosewala, who was killed in Punjab\u2019s Mansa district in 2022, and jailed gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria, referencing their influence over the Punjabi music industry.<\/p>\n

Dhillon is known for popular tracks such as \u201cBoot Cut,” \u201cOld Skool,” and \u201cMajha Block.”<\/p>\n

In September 2024, gunshots were also reported outside singer AP Dhillon\u2019s home on Victoria Island in Vancouver, an incident for which Rohit Godara, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, claimed responsibility.<\/p>\n

Similarly, in November 2023, Lawrence Bishnoi himself had claimed responsibility for a purported shooting at singer Gippy Grewal\u2019s residence in Vancouver\u2019s White Rock neighbourhood.<\/p>\n

The latest incident of firing has raised serious concerns about the growing reach of organized crime networks targeting Punjabi artists abroad.<\/p>\n
