After Deepika Padukone\u2019s reported exit from two major films reignited discussions on gruelling work schedules in the film industry, Rashmika Mandanna has voiced her concern about long working hours. The actress, known for her honesty, admitted that she often overworks herself something she does not recommend to anyone.<\/p>\n

\u201cI overwork and it\u2019s highly not suggestible. It\u2019s not sustainable. Don\u2019t do it. Do what\u2019s comfortable for you. Do what\u2019s right for you,” Rashmika told Gulte.com, adding that getting eight hours of sleep is essential to one\u2019s long-term well-being.<\/p>\n

\u2018Please Don\u2019t Make Us Actors Do That\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rashmika revealed that despite understanding her limits, she pushes herself because of her commitment to her team. \u201cI tend to overwork myself because I take on so much more than a normal human being can and should but I\u2019m also not someone who will tell my teams that I can\u2019t do something for them,” she shared.<\/p>\n

The actress explained that she often ends up working beyond normal hours because film crews face tight schedules and limited access to locations. \u201cThat\u2019s almost every day in cinema and that\u2019s the love and respect I have for my teams,” she said. However, she added that if she had the choice, she would want the industry to set boundaries. \u201cPlease don\u2019t make us actors do that because there\u2019s a lot that\u2019s going on. Not even actors, directors, light men, music, everyone\u2026 Let us have fixed working hours like nine to six or nine to five.”<\/p>\n

\u2018I Still Want To Focus On My Family Life\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rashmika also emphasized the importance of maintaining a healthy personal life alongside a demanding career. \u201cThere\u2019s still a family life that I want to focus on. There\u2019s still my sleep that I want to get in and I still want to work out so that later on I\u2019m not regretting that I wish I was healthy and fit when I was younger,” she said.<\/p>\n

Interestingly, there have been recent social media rumours about her being engaged to Vijay Deverakonda, but these have not been officially confirmed. However, they both were spotted wearing bands on their ring fingers. <\/p>\n
