As the internet continues to debate Too Much With Kajol & Twinkle, a throwback clip of Alia Bhatt has reignited conversations about infidelity and modern relationships. Twinkle Khanna and Kajol recently shocked audiences when they downplayed physical infidelity as a deal breaker on their celebrity talk show. The duo\u2019s remarks sparked massive backlash, and now, Alia\u2019s old confession from Koffee With Karan has resurfaced online, adding new fuel to the discussion.<\/p>\n

During the chat show, host Karan Johar asked Alia what would qualify as a deal breaker for her in a relationship. Without hesitation, Alia replied, \u201cEmotional infidelity.”<\/p>\n

Reddit Questions Alia\u2019s Perspective<\/strong><\/p>\n

Soon after the clip began circulating, Reddit users jumped into the conversation, questioning whether Alia\u2019s response implied she would be more accepting of physical infidelity. One user wrote, \u201cI wasn\u2019t even aware of the distinction between emotional and physical infidelity, had it not been for KWK. Middle-class morality says cheating means Dhum tananana (Zooming in on everyone\u2019s shocked faces!).”<\/p>\n

Another quipped, \u201cSo physical one is fine! Wow. I feel sad because how we as a society have accepted cheating as normal.”<\/p>\n

The debate mirrors the reactions Twinkle Khanna and Kajol faced earlier this week, when they suggested that physical infidelity might not necessarily end a relationship.<\/p>\n

Alia\u2019s Past Comments on Infidelity Resurface<\/strong><\/p>\n

Adding more context, an old 2019 interview of Alia Bhatt has also gone viral. While promoting Kalank, the actress reflected on her parents\u2019 marriage and her father Mahesh Bhatt\u2019s extramarital affair that led him to meet her mother, Soni Razdan.<\/p>\n

In a conversation with The Asian Age, Alia said, \u201cMy father met my mother because he had an extramarital affair. I am not as black and white about life; sometimes things happen for a reason. Of course, you would not want to propagate infidelity and I don\u2019t propagate it, but I understand the nature of human, it\u2019s not always that easy.”<\/p>\n

Despite the renewed attention on her remarks, Alia remains happily married to Ranbir Kapoor. The couple tied the knot in 2022 and are proud parents to their daughter, Raha Kapoor.<\/p>\n
