Elli AvrRam rose to fame after she appeared in Salman Khan<\/a>\u2013hosted controversial reality show Bigg Boss 7. While the show gave her a lot of fame, it also brought a lot of struggle for the actress. In a recent chat, Elli talked about how she struggled to prove herself as a serious actor to filmmakers after appearing in Bigg Boss.<\/p>\n

In conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Elli shared, \u201cI actually thought that it is part of my journey. Little did I know that it would also give me a lot of struggle to prove to filmmakers and producers that I\u2019m here to be a serious actor and not just somebody who is wanting to be famous and make money. That wasn\u2019t my intention at all.”<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was literally, I was told that I should be part of this show so that I promote my first film Mickey Virus and people get to know me,” she further continued.<\/p>\n

While reacting to being the lowest-paid actress on the show, with a payment of just 1 lakh per week, she said, \u201cNo, no, I got more than that.”<\/p>\n

Elli AvrRam on bond with Salman Khan<\/strong><\/p>\n

Elli, who rose to fame after appearing in Bigg Boss 7, first met Salman on the reality show, where their friendly rapport became a highlight of the season. Years later, she says that bond still holds meaning for her. \u201cI have been in touch with Salman. In fact, I recently met him after many years at Ganpati. I am actually very bad at keeping in touch. I live in my bubble and focus on so many things I want to do. I work on myself a lot. There are so many things you need to control and take care of when living alone in a different country that functions very differently from the one you were born and raised in with your parents,” Elli said in a recent interview with Screen, admitting she rarely asks anyone, even her father, for help.<\/p>\n

Speaking about Salman\u2019s protective nature, she added, \u201cWhat I am extremely grateful for, when it comes to Salman and the fondness he has had for me, is that he is very protective of his people. I do believe he has been like an angel in my life. Over the years in the industry, from what I have heard from other girls about their experiences, it has been extremely shocking. And I somehow understood that many people are scared of Salman Khan, so they don\u2019t dare to misbehave. That\u2019s been a beautiful form of protection, and I\u2019m very grateful for that.”<\/p>\n

Elli\u2019s sweet nature and bubbly personality caught Salman\u2019s attention during Bigg Boss 7.<\/a> Many even believed she was part of his close circle. Though they haven\u2019t worked together in any film, the two have always shared mutual respect.<\/p>\n
