Actor Sumeet Raghavan, who played Sahil Sarabhai in the popular sitcom Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai, has mourned Satish Shah\u2019s death. Sumeet, who played his on-screen son on the show, got teary-eyed while talking about his bond with him. He paid an emotional tribute, and reacted to the overwhelming outpouring of condolences from fans. He accepted the condolence messages on behalf of the show\u2019s cast and bid farewell to Satish Shah.<\/p>\n

Sumeet Raghavan Mourns Satish Shah\u2019s Death<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Saturday, Sumeet Raghav took to his Instagram to share a video message, expressing his grief over the news of Satish Shah\u2019s demise. The cast of Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai shared a great bond, and a few years ago, pictures of their reunion went viral on social media. Now, in his video, Sumeet mentioned that while the show only ran for 70 episodes back in 2004 due to low viewership, it has since become a cultural phenomenon. He said that there can only ever be one Indravadan- Satish Shah. Reflecting on their bond, he said that they would address each other as their characters whenever they met. \u201cThe bigger this show became, the stronger our bond grew. So whenever we would meet each other, we were not Sumeet, Rupali, or Rajesh. We talked to each other as Sahil, Monisha, Rosesh, Dad, and Mom,” he said.<\/p>\n

Sumeet then expressed his grief over the passing of Satish Shah, the senior-most member of the Sarabhai family. \u201cToday, the eldest member of the Sarabhai family has left us. He had been unwell for quite some time. Life can be very cruel. All the fans of Sarabhai are sending their condolences. As the eldest son of this family, I accept all your condolences on behalf of us. And to Dad, I just want to say, so long, Dada. Safe travels, and see you on the other side,” he said. Sumeet teared up while bidding farewell to his on-screen father.<\/p>\n

In his caption, he wrote, \u201cLove you satish kaka.. Love you dad\u2026We all love you and miss you indu..narad muniiiii..#sarabhaivssarabhai \u00a0#indravadansarabhai.”<\/p>\n

Earlier, Rajesh Kumar, who played Rosesh Sarabhai in the sitcom, also paid tribute to Satish Shah. \u00a0He called it his \u2018worst hour\u2019, and wrote that it feels like he has lost his father. He remembered Satish Shah, and called his death a massive loss to the entertainment industry, and to the Sarabhai family.<\/p>\n
