Bihar BJP President <\/span>Dilip<\/span> Jaiswal on Thursday slammed <\/span>Rashtriya<\/span> Janata Dal (RJD) leader <\/span>Tejashwi<\/span> Yadav after the latter claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had shattered the hopes of the people by agreeing to a ceasefire deal with Pakistan.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jaiswal said that Yadav \u201cshould go to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (<\/span>PoK<\/span>)” if he was talking about that during the elections.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cNow, at the time of elections, he is thinking about <\/span>PoK<\/span>. He should go to <\/span>PoK<\/span> then,” Jaiswal said, reacting to Yadav\u2019s remark made on Wednesday, in which Yadav had claimed, \u201cWe had hopes of getting <\/span>PoK<\/span> back.”<\/span><\/p>\n

The 2025 Bihar Assembly election for 243 seats will take place in two phases\u2014November<\/span> 6 and November 11\u2014and<\/span>\u00a0the <\/span>counting <\/span>is <\/span>scheduled for November 14. <\/span><\/p>\n

At present, the Bihar government is led by Nitish Kumar (JD(U)) aligned with the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA).<\/span><\/p>\n

The preparations for the elections are in full swing, with both the ruling government and the opposition questioning each other.<\/p>\n
